The Drive Difference is the company's mission to elevate exceptional truckers to become better businesspeople and entrepreneurs. With this singular focus, the Drive Logistics team and its over 100 years of trucking industry experience are ready to help you become a thriving owner operator.
Client Success Manager Ace Naranong is an important member of the Drive Logistics team. He joined Drive Logistics in July 2021 and manages the company’s fleet consultants.
Ace’s day-to-day includes assisting truckers with various issues on the road, managing relationships with brokers and monitoring the Daily Truck List – which tells Ace the type of freight the company’s fleet of truckers are moving for the day and where it’s headed.
“Our team of fleet consultants make sure our fleets are running smoothly and our truckers have the best possible experience with Drive Logistics,” Ace said. “We limit the number of truckers our fleet consultants work with and it provides our truckers the personal touch a traditional dispatcher can’t offer.”
Ace added that his experience managing concrete truckers for a heavy building materials company plays right into his role at Drive Logistics.
“These guys worked 14 hours a day, six days a week and they were worn out, but we had to deliver concrete,” Ace said. “I built relationships with them, and we got through it together – those experiences have helped me relate to and help our truckers at Drive Logistics, too.”
How do you see the trucking industry evolving?
Truckers make the world go round. With Drive Logistics’ proprietary myDrive mobile application, the company has leapt into a world of automation and simplicity for our clients, truckers and our team in the office. Automation and simplicity improve the everyday life of the trucker, from the booking of a load to submitting important documents. This kind of innovation will continue to drive the evolution of this industry.
What is your greatest personal achievement, professionally?
I believe my greatest personal achievement professionally is my time in the Navy leading a team of 35 sailors. The Navy is where I spent a large portion of my professional career mentoring. It’s always nice to achieve things for yourself, but it’s when you help improve the quality of someone’s professional journey that you really understand what leadership is about.
What is the guiding principle that keeps you focused and motivated on your career?
The most important principle when it comes to any career is having a passion and a drive to come in and not just work, but accomplish things. Working at Drive Logistics keeps me motivated because the whole reason for what we do, is to uplift our truckers in all aspects ranging from their health, to what happens on the road.
At Drive Logistics we are invested in empowering America’s truckers and providing them the tools to reach their entrepreneurial goals. ‘Drive’ offers comprehensive business solutions for truckers who want to become owner operators, but need support with the day-to-day of starting and running a successful trucking business.
