How Much Money Do Truckers Earn Annually?

Drive Logistics sets the record straight on trucker pay

Drive Logistics is committed to doing our part in keeping everyone safe on America's roads.

Part of our mission at Drive Logistics is to equip the truckers in our fleet with accurate data and information to assist them in making sound financial decisions.

At Drive Logistics, we are invested in empowering America’s truckers and providing them the tools to reach their entrepreneurial goals. ‘Drive’ offers comprehensive business solutions for truckers who want to become owner operators, but need support with the day-to-day of starting and running a successful trucking business.

Trucker annual pay is once again one of the top issues facing truckers this year. According to the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) data, the average annual pay for a national truckload solo van driver was nearly $58,000 in 2019.

This figure accounts for a $6,000 increase over 2017.

Driver compensation is not limited to direct driver pay, and many fleets utilize performance bonuses as an additional way to compensate and reward drivers for safe driving and other metrics.

In ATRI’s 2019 Operational Costs of Trucking, fleets reported average annual safety bonuses of $1,238.

With trucker pay climbing slowly, many truckers are searching for innovative ways to cash in on their expertise. This is where the Drive Difference comes in.

The Drive Difference

With Drive Logistics and the myDrive mobile app, the company’s clients have the tools they need to haul the freight they want, when they want, where they want, and that freedom is the key to unlocking personal success.

With Drive’s team headquartered in sunny Jacksonville, FL., and the groundbreaking myDrive app, the sky is the limit for truckers who want to become an owner operator.

“Using the myDrive app, along with everything Drive Logistics has to offer, provides the truckers that have partnered with us the opportunity to double their annual taxable income,” Drive Logistics founder Michael O’Leary said.
